This contract was for a residential care home owned by Grwp Cynefin.
It involved the upgrading and refurbishment work of the building.
A brief description of the works involved were:
- Removal of asbestos from various areas of the building
- Hacking off existing render
- Stripping back of existing roof, lead replaced, new felt and batten and re-slated.
- New fascias and soffits all around
- New rainwater goods
- New windows and doors
- New render finish
- New boundary wall
- Full garage refurb, which included new liquid plastic garage roof.
Regular meetings were held with client and designers to assess progress.
Regular health and safety audits were carried out to keep the site compliant and free of accidents/incidents.
Contract was delivered on time and within budget.
